Use a Business or Creator account. Connect through the official login and allow the access needed to read comments and send replies.
Step 02
Choose what starts the reply
Start with one post or Reel. Pick a word such as GUIDE. Ask people to comment that word to get your guide.
Step 03
Write the DM and add your link
Send what you promised. For example: ‘Here’s your guide.’ Add its link and open it yourself to check it works.
Step 04
Turn it on and test
Leave the chosen comment from a separate Instagram account. Check the received DM, the link, and any follow request before promoting the post.

Each rule starts with a comment or message. Story replies and Story mentions are separate choices.

Send a private reply after a chosen comment word.
Example: Someone comments PRICE on your Reel. Your DM shares the price list.
- Story replies
Reply when someone responds to your Story.
Example: Ask viewers to reply GUIDE. Send the guide in their DM conversation.
- Story mentions
Respond when someone mentions your account in a Story.
Example: Send a thank-you message after a customer mentions your account.
- DM keywords
Send a saved reply when a message matches your word.
Example: Someone messages HOURS. Send your opening times.

Respond to chosen words during an Instagram Live.

Check that the rule is active and that the word matches your post. If a DM is missing, check message requests, your account connection, and your remaining runs.
A run is different from a rule
A rule is an automation you set up. One eligible comment or message starting it uses one run. A public reply and DM in the same response count as one run.
At your monthly run limit, saved rules stay in place but new replies stop. The allowance resets each billing cycle. Paid plans still follow Meta's rules, and AI credits have separate limits.
WinkSend uses Meta's official API. This does not guarantee that an account will never face a restriction. This tool is for replies to supported actions, not bulk cold messages. Read Meta's messaging guidance.
